About Me

I have been a video assist operator since 2015 and I've worked in all kind of sets from car commercials to period movies.

I see VAO as a precision job. A lot of times, on set we have an entire team waiting for some shot composition to get client approval and in those specific moments it is important to stay focus but also to keep calm.

Usually I work with Qtake which is the most advanced video assist system out there. With it I am able to provide efficient playback, quick shot selections, simple edition, realtime overlays, wipes, keying and more.

In 2020 and to face the new reality of Virtual Production, Gonçalo and I got together to start 7Stream a company focused in streaming for commercial in order to get the video feed where it needs to go.

When i'm not on set usually you can find me on a climbing wall, on a sailboat or in my cave designing, 3d printing and fixing stuff that usually is not broken.
